In this blog, I am introducing to you the best of Hamilton County wedding venues. Located just north of Indianapolis, Hamilton County is an affluent suburb filled incredible wedding venues. It can be difficult to choose the perfect setting for your wedding with so many options – or not knowing about the hidden gems in your own community. These Hamilton County wedding venues are, in my opinion, some of Central Indiana’s best. Which landscape do you love? What type of ambience are you looking for? Read on to see our favorites! Who knows, one might grab your heart and be available for your wedding day. They book out fast so get planning!
If you have your heart set on a unique and whimsical wedding venue in the forest, then book a tour at Artisan Acres in Noblesville, Indiana. Tucked away in a quaint woodland setting on twelve secluded historic acres, Artisan Acres Estate has everything you need to create your storybook wedding. From the fragrant lavender field to the lush and colorful dahlia gardens, to the extraordinary Old European style barn, this venue is truly a gem!
What’s so great about White Willow Farms is that it gives you both a quintessential Midwestern vibe (hello, farm homestead) with a touch of rural charm thrown in for good measure. The restored 1940’s barn is complete with original hand hewn beams, 45ft ceilings, chandeliers, concrete floors and a built in modern bar. The 14 acre property also features a countryside chapel, antique church style pews, picturesque fields and onsite horses. This might be quite possibly our favorite barn venue!
Dreaming of an outdoor wedding without the anxiety of Indiana weather? The Garden Pavilion at Ritz Charles, is a permanent glass structure providing a 360 degree view of beautifully landscaped gardens, imported fountains and wooded surroundings. With the permanent ceiling drapery, string lighting set among the beautiful garden setting and amazing lighting, your wedding day will be picture perfect!
Although not technically in Hamilton County, Daniel’s Vineyard is a few minutes east in McCordsville, Indiana. This picturesque venue is perfect for those that want to relax with panoramic vineyard views while sipping on award-winning wine. After saying your vows in the vineyard, head upstairs to the elegant white brick ballroom with an inviting terrace patio.
Balmoral House is an intimate estate surrounded by views of botanical blooms, lush greenery, a charming gazebo and large outdoor terrace and patio. For receptions, you’ll be able to choose from dining in the formal ballroom, or step outside for a celebration under the stars.
The Ritz Charles is the perfect Hamilton County wedding venue for those dreaming of an elegant ballroom feel. They have multiple event spaces from ballrooms to a chapel as well as multiple courtyards. Newly remodeled in 2020, the ballrooms feature a light and airy feel and a welcoming lobby.
Located in Fishers, Indiana, is the Historic Ambassador House and Heritage Gardens. This property is full of history with the historic 1800’s home onsite and lush gardens. A brick path will guide your guests around the property, first to a pergola arbor, an outdoor lighted terrace and beyond lies a semi-permanent tent on the property for outdoor receptions.
If a classic red barn is what you picture for your wedding, be sure to consider Lindley Farmstead at Chatham Hills. Surrounded by acres of beautiful countryside, the grounds of historical Lindley Farmstead include the original Lindley family home and newly renovated three story barn. With spacious decks overlooking a reflective pond and meticulously groomed landscaping, the 1830’s barn has every modern amenity while retaining the original, rustic wooden beams and river stone foundation.
