Maddy and Drew’s fall wedding at The Conservatory at Evergreen was the perfect blend of moody elegance and personal flair. Falling just one day after Halloween, the couple wanted to be intentional about steering away from anything that felt themed or spooky. Instead, they embraced a sophisticated palette of black and moody tones, creating a modern, atmospheric vibe that felt stylish—not Halloween-inspired.

The weather was lovely for early November, giving the couple the perfect backdrop for their outdoor portraits. The leaves were also at their peak—rich, vibrant color everywhere you looked. I always tell couples that late October and early November are the sweet spot for autumn foliage, and Indiana certainly did not disappoint.

While every moment of the day felt special, the reception had one standout element guests talked about all night: flash tattoos.
Maddy and Drew invited guests to a tattoo station where they could choose between temporary designs or real flash tattoos from tattoo artist Tina Brenda. It was an instant hit—guests of all ages jumped in, fully embracing the interactive fun.
To kick off the excitement, the couple got matching King and Queen tattoos, setting the tone for an unforgettable night.

As the sun set, the couple’s fall wedding at The Conservatory at Evergreen transformed into an intimate haven lit by flickering candles. The glow reflected off the glass, greenery, and carefully placed décor, creating a warm, moody atmosphere that felt equal parts romantic and modern. This is one of the reasons I absolutely love fall and winter weddings—when the sun dips earlier, the entire evening takes on a cozy, candlelit magic that you just can’t replicate in the summer months.

Maddy and Drew embraced the elegance of an all-black wedding palette, weaving in subtle moody elements, including black taper candles. Black linens, candlelit tablescapes, and rich maroon floral textures set the tone for a Día de los Muertos–inspired evening that felt both dramatic and refined.
One detail guests absolutely adored? Their two beloved cats, Indie and Stevie, appeared as oversized custom cat-head cutouts—an unforgettable and adorable touch. It perfectly captured the couple’s playful personality, and the black cats even matched the moody wedding aesthetic.

Maddy and Drew’s wedding was the perfect example of how a couple can personalize their celebration in meaningful, expressive ways. From flash tattoos and cat cameos to a rich black color palette and cozy November ambiance, their day was truly one-of-a-kind.
