Blue Hues & May I Do’s: A Spring Wedding at The Sixpence

On a warm, 70-degree day in early May (thank you, Indiana!), The Sixpence set the perfect stage for an unforgettable wedding celebration. With sprawling pastures and soft sunlight dancing across the venue’s modern barn exterior, Sarah and Taylor’s spring wedding was equal parts romantic and relaxed—a beautiful way to kick off the wedding season.

This wedding fully embraced the “something blue,” featuring touches of muted dusty blue and airy seafoam hues – anchored by a foundation of white florals. The result? A simple, clean, and effortlessly elegant color palette that felt fresh and unfussy.

Rather than matching gowns, the bride opted for an effortlessly chic mix of blue shades and patterned dresses for her bridesmaids—creating a fresh and airy look that felt curated and unique. The groomsmen balanced the look with timeless black tuxedos, adding just the right amount of formality to the springtime setting.

Adding even more heart to the day, the couple’s beloved dogs made a special appearance—proudly wearing custom floral collar rings.

Sarah & Taylor truly had the best day to explore the grounds for portraits, soaking in all the promise of spring. The white barn offered the perfect backdrop for their celebration, and overall, we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day!
