Grace and Sam’s January wedding at the Crowne Plaza Union Station in downtown Indianapolis was everything a winter wedding should be—elegant, cozy, and truly magical. With stunning moments captured by the talented Snapshots by Sally Jane, their special day came to life in a way that’s sure to warm your heart.

Bows are making a big statement in the world of weddings right now, and Grace’s wedding dress beautifully embraced this trend with a special twist. A stunning bow, created from her mom’s wedding dress, was added to the back of her gown. Not only did this thoughtful detail bring a chic touch to her look, but it also served as her “something old,” adding an extra layer of sentiment and tradition to her special day.

After a lovely morning at Kathryn’s Bridal Bar, the bride and her ladies completed their final touches in the bridal suite at the Omni Severin. The couple then shared their first look on the stunning staircase in the Omni lobby, for their special moment. The grand staircase has long been a signature feature of the hotel, creating a truly iconic location for their intimate moment.

Winter weddings have always been my passion, and Grace and Sam’s January celebration at the historic Crowne Plaza Union Station in downtown Indianapolis was the perfect example of why. There’s something so elegant and upscale about a winter wedding. The couple’s green and white design, paired with the towering Christmas tree and string lights (Indy Dream Events), transformed the venue into a stunning winter wonderland. Florals were designed by Elsie’s Flower Shoppe and signage and stationery by Interprintations.

For entertainment, the couple hired one of my favorites, My Yellow Rickshaw. They’re always a crowd pleaser, and this wedding was no exception—especially with Nate and his fiddle, which added such a lively and fun energy to the celebration. Their music had everyone up and dancing, creating unforgettable moments throughout the night.
