After their heartfelt ceremony at Laurel Hall, Jennifer and Austin’s reception in the dining room was a welcome and elegant sight. The room, with its warm ambiance and historic beauty, provided the perfect backdrop for an evening of celebration and joy.

A beautiful touch to the reception design was the repurposing of the florals from the ceremony arbor. We thoughtfully relocated the lush garland to the mantle to add a romantic focal point to the sweetheart table. In my opinion, decorating the mantle behind the sweetheart table is a must. Whether it’s with candles, florals, or something uniquely striking, it adds a special touch that truly elevates the look and feel of the space.

Touches of blue were delicately incorporated into the room’s design, adding a soft pop of color without overwhelming the space. Blue napkins were placed on each guest’s table, complementing the floral arrangements and adding a sophisticated contrast to the overall decor. The balance of muted tones with the lively blue accents created a feeling of timeless elegance and modern flair.

As the night unfolded, the outdoor terrace came to life with the soft glow of string lights overhead. Guests enjoyed the beautiful late August evening, mingling outside under the stars. It was the perfect setting for guests to unwind, take in the scenic surroundings, and savor the warm Indianapolis evening.
