Hello, dear readers! Today, I’m overjoyed to share the beautiful wedding of Mary and Derrick’s that unfolded in the heart of Noblesville, Indiana at the picturesque Artisan Acres Estate.
Mary and Derrick’s journey began amidst the challenges of 2020, leading them to give online dating a shot. Fate brought them together at Taxman Brewery in downtown Indianapolis, where they closed the place down with hours of conversation. United by their love of nature and the outdoors, their connection was undeniable.
A couple years later the couple took a magical trip to Scotland in May 2022. A camper van, breathtaking landscapes, and a surprise proposal at the Old Man of Storr—the stuff dreams are made of! Derrick’s heartfelt proposal, accompanied by a full rainbow, marked the beginning of their journey to forever.
Fast forward to a beautiful September day, the perfect setting for a fall wedding at Artisan Acres Estate. Surrounded by the enchanting ambiance of a flower farm and serene woods, the location set the stage for the dreamy nature-centered celebration.
Inspired by the Gothic architecture witnessed in Edinburgh, Scotland, Mary and Derrick chose Artisan Acres for its European charm and natural surroundings. The venue, adorned with European elements, was the perfect backdrop for their whimsical celebration.
The color palette of pinks and greens reflected their love for nature. Bridesmaids adorned in mauve and pink tones, groomsmen in classic black suits, and a touch of turquoise showcased their unique style.
As the gentle breeze whispered through the leaves of a majestic 200-year-old oak tree, it set the perfect backdrop for the couple’s ceremony. The flower girls walked down the aisle, adorned in delicate floral embroidered dresses, adding an extra touch of whimsy to this magical celebration. Stunning floral pieces, created by Molly & Myrtle, adorned the entrance of the aisle lined with aesthetic wooden chairs. Surrounded by their nearest and dearest, Mary and Derrick embarked on the next chapter of their journey together. It was a moment that encapsulated the essence of Mary and Derrick’s love—a union celebrated in the embrace of nature.
Mary and Derrick love for nature extended to their reception with botanical elements gracing menu cards and pressed fern leaves on their table numbers. The table settings, customized with printed napkins in the Ezra Lichen print, added a whimsical and woodsy feel. Mirrored tables, sage green goblets and King Louis chairs at the head table echoed the European vibe, creating an atmosphere that was both polished and magical.
The silo bar at Artisan Acres Estate is not just a place to grab your favorite drink, it’s a work of art itself. We added a touch of personalization by hanging the couple’s neon sign inside, making it a focal point on the patio.
The grand finale of the evening was the flaming donut bar catered by the Ritz Charles. This show-stopping interactive station allowed guests to customize their own delectable treats with a variety of delicious toppings.
As their wedding planner, I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. It was an honor to be a part of their story, creating a day that will be remembered as a magical beginning to their journey as a married couple. Here’s to love, nature’s embrace, and the timeless beauty of weddings!
