Mallory and Tate’s wedding day was nothing short of magical. Set against the stunning backdrop of Iron and Ember, nestled next to the picturesque Brookshire golf course, their autumn wedding was a true celebration of love. The venue was surrounded by nature’s vibrant display of colorful leaves which was right on target for mid-October in Indiana.
While the ladies focused on final touches and getting ready, the men had a chance to unwind and enjoy themselves in the groom’s suite at Iron and Ember. In their dedicated man cave, the venue offers a features a state-of-the-art golf simulator which as a hit with the groomsmen.
Mallory and Tate chose to write their own vows which added personal touch and authenticity to their wedding day. Rather than reading them during the ceremony, they chose to read them beforehand surrounded by the support and blessings of those closest to them including their parents and wedding party. It was a sweet moment!
Wedding ceremonies are joyous occasions filled with love, laughter, and sometimes unexpected moments. It is not uncommon for something to go slightly awry on the big day, often in the form of a minor detail. One such instance occurred when Mallory’s veil fluttered off her head as the wind picked up with a gentle breeze.
In this delightful twist of fate, a quick-thinking groomsman came to the rescue and caught the veil before it could be carried away by the wind. The incident brought about a moment of lightheartedness and laughter among the wedding party.
After saying “I do” in a beautiful ceremony, the newlyweds took a moment to let the emotions sink in. It was pure bliss, surrounded by the love and warmth of family and friends.
The couple carefully selected a color palette that perfectly complemented the season. Featuring soft champagne tones and rustic neutrals of bronze, peach, copper, and ivory, it was an elegant combination of color and warm hues of autumn. Every detail tied together seamlessly with the gorgeous florals, farmhouse tables and a warm embers in the fireplace.
After saying “I do,” the couple embarked on a celebration filled with laughter, dancing, and heartfelt toasts. It was a time for everyone to come together and rejoice in their union. The atmosphere was filled with love and excitement as they danced their first dance as newlyweds.
