In the realm of sports, where passion and determination collide, extraordinary stories are born. And this is one such tale that will leave you inspired and in awe. Picture this: a couple who both were born with muscular dystrophy, defying the odds and finding love on the soccer field.
It all began on the hallowed grounds of power soccer where Natalie and Jordan crossed paths. United by their shared passion for power soccer and fueled by their indomitable spirits, they formed a friendship.
But their journey didn’t end there. As fate would have it, they were given the opportunity to represent TEAM USA in Brazil – a dream come true for any athlete. In was then during their trip that love blossomed between them. And then it began!
Upon arrival, guests were treated to some welcoming touches. The couple’s program, aptly named Wedding Day Post, added a fun spin on traditional wedding programs. Guests were also encouraged scoop up a cup of petal confetti to toss as the couple walked back down the aisle. It was a whimsical and romantic touch to Natalie and Jordan’s recessional.
Having an “unplugged ceremony” has been a request of many couples. For Natalie and Jordan, they wanted to ensure that all the guests had an opportunity to capture a perfect shot. The officiant asked for everyone to take out their phones and capture the moment – to which they happily obliged! She then announced for everyone to put the phones away for reminder of the ceremony. It was fun twist on announcing an unplugged ceremony.
The couple strived to create a colorful and happy feel to the celebration by infusing colors that reflected joy and positivity. The vibrant floral centerpieces, created by Flower Boys, set the tone for each table. Teal goblets and napkins added a touch of elegance and playfulness to each place setting.
At their beautiful White Willow Farms wedding, the bride and groom showcased their unique love story through heartwarming dances that left everyone in awe. But it wasn’t just the dances that made this wedding truly unforgettable. The bride also surprised her dad with a stunning custom jacket lined with precious memories of their journey together.
Congratulations to Natalie and Jordan on their special day! It’s heartwarming to see two people come together in love and celebrate their commitment to one another. Behind every successful wedding, there are dedicated wedding professionals who work tirelessly to bring the couple’s dreams to life.
A big thank you goes out to these talented vendors for this heartwarming wheelchair wedding!
