Merissa and Drew’s Memorial Day weekend wedding at The Wilds offered a picturesque setting for their guests who traveled near and far. This long weekend allowed guests to fully immerse themselves in the festivities and the gorgeous Brown County while celebrating with the couple. Their pink color palette brought a touch of romance and elegance to the occasion, making it perfect for a spring wedding. JP Parker Florals created gorgeous soft arrangements of stunning peonies and roses.
The couple planned their cocktail hour to be filled with yard games, signature drinks inspired by their adorable cats (check out the sign!), and unforgettable moments. For the groom, an avid basketball fan, the highlight of the cocktail hour was the basketball arcade game to bring out guests’ competitive spirit. Being an Indiana University grad, it only made sense to include some basketball influences. For guests that preferred something more laid-back, the couple offered cornhole, Jenga and ladder ball.
The combination of clean white surroundings, simple floral bud vases, and rattan chargers brought together a symphony of beauty and sophistication for the couple’s reception. The textured Sahara runners, my personal favorite from A Classic Party Rentals, added a touch of luxury and softness to the tables.
The late night snack of their Instagram-worthy pretzel bar was a hit with everyone!
