This beautiful summer wedding took place in early July at the charming Union 12 venue near Fort Wayne, Indiana. The venue sits on 20 beautiful acres featuring gorgeous views of lush meadows, a gorgeous pond and golden sunsets perfect for a romantic summer wedding at Union 12.
Union 12 is a highly sought after Northeast Indiana wedding venue because this venue has a separate bridal and groomsmen house. That’s right, not a suite, but a house with a kitchen, sitting areas and a wrap around deck perfect for lounging with your closest friends on wedding morning. Steps away is a large courtyard encompassed with string lighting and a large fire pit with seating. This is the perfect venue if you are looking for an outdoor secluded wedding that has natural beauty everywhere you look and guests are sure to love all the welcoming amenities. The outdoor covered ceremony site was adorned with a gorgeous chiffon and floral draped arch perfected by Rose’s Bouquets. Inside the venue a custom neon sign by Simply Stunning Designs highlighted the incredible gold drizzled cake made by Sassie Cakes. (I want to stop right here and say this was the PRETTIEST cake I’ve ever seen – and it was so delicious. If you are getting married in the Fort Wayne area, call Sassie Cakes!)
This beautiful wedding was timeless with shades of burgundy, blush, greens and whites. The classic deep hued bridesmaids dresses originally planned for fall 2020 were livened up with light pink tones to align with a rescheduled midsummer’s wedding. Despite the color combination being a Plan B, I admit the blush, pink and burgundy was one of my favorite color palettes.
Thank you again to the wonderful and fun Morgan Ruth Photography for capturing these photos of Katie & Eric’s summer wedding at Union 12. If you are a Union 12 couple, let’s bring your vision to reality!
