Hilary and Chris couldn’t have planned a more beautiful day to celebrate their love and commitment to one another. Their late summer estate wedding at Laurel Hall was a perfect blend of elegance and romance mixed with laughter and joy. They truly have such a special and unique bond that is evident to anyone that knows this sweet couple. One of the best parts about being with them on their wedding day was feeling the love and support of their family and friends.
Hilary and Chris split their wedding day into two events and found the result to be fabulously relaxing. With an intimate family ceremony earlier in the afternoon, an evening reception later and plenty of time to enjoy each others company in between, it was a seamless, well-planned flow to the day.
The couple opted to exchange letters and private vows during their first look. It was a sweet moment for them each to read each’s love letter to each other.
As cocktail hour began, guests enjoyed gathering on the terrace and sneaking some photos with the newlyweds. Their closest friends were all so much fun, supportive and an absolute joy to be around. While the couple chose not to have a wedding party, their closest arrived for the evening festivities in full support wearing the bride’s color of choice, pink.
Guest finished up their late afternoon cocktail hour and were escorted into Laurel Hall’s cozy dining hall for the reception. With the help of florist, Woven Blooms, the room was completely transformed into the most whimsical and romantic reception space. Anthropologie style florals were draped over the mantle and continued throughout the sweetheart table for a stunning focal point.
Laurel Hall has been one of our favorite estate-style wedding venues for us in Central Indiana. We absolutely adore our couples and their each unique style that creates a stunning wedding day. Thank you to Hilary and Chris for trusting us to bring your vision to life!
