Anthony & Evie’s Midwestern bohemian fall wedding took place on their family’s countryside property on the first beautiful sunny Saturday in October. Nature was kind with sunny skies and a slight brisk breeze.

The stunning scene combined rustic and bohemian touches thanks to the 200 year old tree, stained glass panels and and romantic outdoor lighting.

The couple opted to plan their ceremony around Indiana’s “golden hour” with the ceremony beginning at 6:45pm.  The beautiful dusk deepened throughout the ceremony as the couple said their vows.

It’s no doubt couples steer towards deep reds, oranges, and browns for fall weddings. However for the couple along with florist, Custom Blooms, they decided to expand their color palette.  With jewel tones of deep plum, amber yellow, sapphire blue and magenta pinks their Midwestern bohemian fall wedding was rustic, yet colorful.

The Details

Partnering with Violet Vintage Rentals, the florals and decor were harmonized with blue goblets and stained glass features (although many were also from the bride’s mother’s glass collection). The impressive sweetheart table was highlighted with floral hanging hoops, dusty blue tapered candles, amber goblets and a bohemian crocheted table runner.

Evie also wanted to include touches of her mother’s legacy who had passed away. Through tactful and thoughtful details, her mother was present in the most gracious of ways. Evie’s bouquet, wrapped in sapphire blue ribbon, contained heirloom lockets of her mother’s photos.  Additionally, a front row chair was reserved with a simple sign and floral arrangement in memory of her mother.

Evie & Anthony’s Midwestern bohemian fall wedding was a beautiful gathering of their families and closest friends. Their love was so real and true and it made their wedding incredibly romantic and elegant. May their beautiful day be just the first of many to come!
