Haley and Alexander’s wedding at the Ritz Charles Garden Pavilion in Carmel, Indiana was everything a summer garden party should be – colorful, romantic, joyful, and filled with beautiful floral details. A few pop-up showers may have made an appearance, but there was absolutely no dampening their spirits. These two were contagiously happy all day long, embracing every moment and simply enjoying the celebration they had been looking forward to. Truly the best perspective to have on your wedding day!

A Fresh & Colorful Chapel Ceremony

Color was at the heart of Haley and Alexander’s wedding design. Rather than limiting the day to just one or two traditional wedding colors, their palette felt fresh and abundant, with beautiful shades woven throughout the florals and details. Against the clean white walls of the Ritz Charles Chapel, all that color truly popped and gave the ceremony such a fresh, summery feel. Solstice Florals brought their vision to life perfectly!

Bringing the Garden Party Inside

The garden-party theme continued from the moment guests found their seats. Instead of traditional escort cards, Haley and Alexander used flower seed packets, with each packet directing guests to a table named after a corresponding flower. It was such a creative way to carry the floral inspiration beyond the décor and into the guest experience and a sweet little favor guests could take home and plant after the celebration.

Inside the Ritz Charles Garden Pavilion, Haley and Alexander continued their colorful summer garden inspiration throughout every detail. The vibrant florals paired beautifully with warm amber candlelight, adding color, texture, and personality to the tables. With natural light pouring into the Pavilion and lush greenery surrounding the space, it created the prettiest backdrop for dinner and dancing. The entire reception felt romantic, but still fun. Elegant, but never stuffy. Every detail worked together to create a space that felt welcoming and full of life.

With so much color, beautiful light, and genuine joy throughout the day, there was no shortage of gorgeous moments to capture. Ella K Photography documented it all so beautifully, from the vibrant details to the candid moments that really showed Haley and Alexander’s personalities. Ella was also such a joy to work alongside – easygoing, collaborative, and a wonderful presence throughout the day.
